Looking for a cute phone for your lady? LG has just introduced a new phone for here. The “make-up” phone or the LG-SH490 has a shiny colored case with various designs. It comes with a 2.4 inch QVGA internal display and a 1.1 inch external display. The 3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, music and video playing capabilities and the 512MB of internal memory are all under this clamshell’s case. The phone will be available in three colors with fancy names: Smoky Red, Deep Blue and Pearl White. There’s no word on pricing and availability although we heard SK Telecom is going to launch it soon.
Above is from mobilewhack.com
This will centainly attract more women to buy and yet have a very stylish mobile phone with them. These beautifully styled phones are really somehing, if your girl sees this unit i think they let you buy it. Just don’t let thm catch you talking to these beautiful women selling you this phones.
Well i just wish “they” would be selling mobile phones for us guys, huh? The LG-SH490 will be available in Korea only via SK Telecom for approximately $375 after conversion. Can’t argue about their choice of models, though. That would be around Php 17,000 or more when it hits here in the Philippines.
HTC Touch Pro2
The Touch Pro2 is equipped with a spacious keyboard that makes it breeze to get your message out. But when written word is not enough, it only takes one touch to respond to an email with the urgency of a phone call. With a 3.6-inch 800 x 480 replacement. Next, add a dedicated touch-sensitive zoom slider that works overtime to take maximum advantage of said screen, then throw in a few key carryovers: 512MB of ROM, 288MB of RAM, microSD expansion, and a 3.2 megapixel cam. Meet the Touch Pro2, the official follow-up to HTC’s popular series of QWERTY sliders that introduces so-called “Straight Talk” technology for “seamlessly” transitioning conversations between email, single-line calls, and party calls.

The HTC Touch Pro2 helps make it easy to share your ideas with all the people that matter. This would be around Php 15,000 i think with add-on or upgrades this would cost much more.
Nokia E63
The newly launched Nokia E63 is taking some spotlight for as a more affordable version of the Nokia E71 smartphone. After a couple weeks with a review unit, here’s our verdict of the Php14,200 Nokia phone.E63 has a huge potential very good phone easy to navigate. Overall very very good functionality but Nokia are locking for support for this device. Like the Nokia E63.
Based on the popular business smartphone E71, a full keyboard is now available to everyone. Its appearance is more casual, replacing the metal with a high-quality plastic. Hopefully, the build quality doesn’t suffer from this and is still very high-end. The colors are also more liberal and instead of the boring grey and black, here we find the fresher blue or red. The E63 has gotten a bit thicker and is now 13 mm, instead of the E71’s 10 mm.

Keys and input method

* Intelligent input with auto-completion, auto-correction and learning capability
* Accelerated scrolling with NaviTMKey
The E63 stores 110MB internal memory. If you want to store data like music, pictures, videos and other data on your E63 you need to buy a microSD card which are available up to 16GB currently. In the test my 4GB microSDHC card worked without problems and even 16GB cards should work too. E63’s 2.36 ” QVGA ( 240 x 320 pixels) screen displays the 16M colours very well.
As is typical high end Nokia phones , the E63’s display won’t disappoint you. It looks good indoors, as well as when exposed to direct sunlight, though in the latter situation the colors become a bit undistinguishable. Still, the image is clear enough and allows you to use the device with no real issues.

Samsung D880
It is a triple-band handset to cover roaming needs. Connectivity options include GPRS and EDGE for faster than dial-up internet connection speeds, Bluetooth and via the data cable. Why Samsung omitted 3G and HSDPA connectivity from this handset is everyone’s guess.
It also has a three-megapixel camera with autofocus for taking occassional snapshots while on the go. The camera also works as a videocam that will records in MPEG4 format. It also has an FM radio, an MP3 player and voice recorder.
Just in case the 47MB memory is too small for the user, a micro-SD card may be inserted in the expansion slot located at the back of the battery slot.

Nokia N95
The Nokia N95 is a somewhat large slider form factor handset. It measures 100mm x 53mm x 20mm (3.9″ x 2.1″ x .8″) in size and weighs 121g (4.3oz), which is to say it is by no means in the running for the thinnest and lightest handset on the market. The front of the N95 has a normal looking silver paint finish, but the sides and back of the device make use of a soft touch style deep burgundy color paint that has a very nice feel to it. Nokia has done a far better job with the slider mechanism on the N95 than it did on the N80.

The N95 gives up the Nokia proprietary pop-port and instead has a miniUSB connector located on its bottom edge. The miniUSB port can not be used for charging, though, a task that is handled by a new style mini Nokia power connector. The top edge of the N95 is home to the power switch, which is also handy for changing profiles when pressed briefly. Out back one finds the 5 megapixel autofocus camera and its flash. The camera lens is protected by a cover that is opened and closed with a slider switch. Opening and closing the cover activates and deactivates the camera. A secondary, QVGA resolution camera is located on the front of the device, just above the display, and is intended for 3G video calling.Nokia N95 8GB is about Php27,850.

The Nokia N86 8MP is designed for both bright and low light conditions, and it’s optimized for both video and still imaging. Its high-speed connectivity ensures easy and convenient sharing.
The fast mechanical shutter ensures pictures with less motion blur while the dual LED camera flash is powerful enough for excellent photography and video capture.
Every detail of the metal-framed Nokia N86 8MP is thoughtfully designed with photography in mind, including 8 GB of internal memory for up to 4,000 images. Like any high-end digital camera, the memory can be increased with an exchangeable 16 GB microSD card. Nokia 5800
The sound speakers are the loudest I’ve ever heard on a mobile phone and worthy of being in the XpressMusic class. With the 5800, you are still able to make a phone call and send text messages with one hand, though half the time you’d end up using your fingernails instead of your thumb. The 5800 gives you 4 options for text input — full QWERTY, mini QWERTY (for portrait mode), handwriting recognition and the normal virtual phone keypad — which is nice because it provides the user more ways to type in text depending on the need and screen orientation.

Aside from the glass screen, the entire device is made up of plastic so it feels light for its size. It’s a little thick at 15.5mm. I think the Nokia 5800 is still worthy to be priced at the 25k to 35k range but Nokia puts it at a very cheap price of Php19,990. Nokia fans will surely love owning this little piece of history from Nokia.
